This policy is provided by GYMENTA CODENCE LTD ("we", "our", "us"), the owner and developer of the Memorial Keeper application ("Memorial Keeper", "app", or "Service").
Memorial Keeper was built to help people remember and find the burial places of their loved ones. This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we handle your information when you use our Service.
By using Memorial Keeper, you agree to the use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may collect certain personally identifiable information that you choose to enter into the app, including but not limited to:
  • Names, dates of birth and dates of death of deceased persons
  • Personal notes and visit records
  • Geolocation coordinates of burial sites
  • Photos of grave markers and surrounding areas
This information is entered manually by you and is used solely to provide the core functionality of the app.
2. Information Storage
All data you enter into Memorial Keeper is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not operate servers, do not collect your data, and do not have access to any information you enter into the app.
3. Device Permissions
Memorial Keeper requests the following permissions:
  • Location (When In Use): Used to determine your current position for cemetery navigation. Location is not tracked, logged, or transmitted anywhere.
  • Photo Library: Used to add photos of grave markers and surroundings to burial records.
  • Notifications: Used to send local annual reminders about memorial anniversaries. No push notification servers are used.
All permissions are optional and can be managed through your device settings.
4. Third-Party Services
Our app uses the following third-party service:
We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
5. In-App Purchase
Memorial Keeper offers a one-time lifetime purchase ("Memorial Keeper Pro") processed entirely through Apple's App Store. When you make a purchase:
  • Your payment details are processed directly by Apple — we do not store or have access to your payment information
  • We receive confirmation of your purchase status from Apple to unlock Pro features on your device
6. Data Security
All locally stored data is protected by iOS's built-in security mechanisms. Since we do not collect or transmit your data, it never leaves your device.
7. Data Sharing
We do not collect, sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties.
8. Your Rights
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete any data directly within the app, or remove all data by deleting the app.
9. Children's Privacy
The app is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page and become effective immediately.
